Since DAC-PD-7 contains the necessary circuits for PD testing, such as the test power supply, detector, coupling capacitor and calibrator, it can easily perform partial discharge tests with only the main unit.
Partial discharge testing to judge the quality of magnet wires, printed circuit boards, connectors, semiconductors, small motors, electrostatic chucks and insulating materials can be easily performed.
PD tests according to the international standard (IEC 60270, 60664-1. 61730-2) are available with the PC software.
● All-IN-ONE UNIT
The tester contains 3000V (or 5000V) testing power supply, coupling capacitor, detector and calibrator.
● EASY TO USE
No need cumbersome wiring.
● AUTO CALIBRATION
Calibration can be performed by simply pressing AUTO CAL key.
● AUTO ADJUSTMENT RANGE
The measurement range is automatically adjusted according to DUT.
● EASY-TO-UNDERSTAND DISPLAY OF MEASUREMENT STATUS
The measurement can be conducted while observing discharge waveform.
The applied voltage profile can be observed simultaneously.
● AUTO MEASUREMENT WITH SOFTWARE
RS232C interface is provided. Automatic measurement with the software is possible.
AC test voltage is linearly increased to the max test voltage/PD Inception voltage, and automatically decreased.
PD inception and extinction voltages are determined according to a specified Threshold value (pC).
In this mode, two levels of voltage “V1” and “V2” are applied continuously.
"V1" is held for "T1" seconds and "V2" is held for "T2" seconds.
PD inception and extinction voltages are determined according to a specified Threshold value (pC).
If no discharge exceeding the criterion value occurs during the last 5 seconds of the holding time "T2", it is judged as "PASS", and if it occurs, it is judged as "FAIL".
